Free — The whole terminal, running on two keys you bring yourself. Free is $0/month with desktop and web apps, charts and quotes from your own market-data key, research agent on your own LLM key (25 turns a day), filings and financials from EDGAR, and FRED economic data, watchlists, alerts, screeners, and the trade journal.

Pro — Everything runs on us — no keys, no setup. Pro is $49.99/month ($499.90/year) with licensed market data hosted by us, hosted AI with 25 million tokens a month, agent write actions that you still approve, always-on server alerts, mobile app, live trading.

Ultimate — An analyst that works while you sleep. Ultimate is $149.99/month ($1,499.90/year) with hosted AI with 250 million tokens a month, daily summaries and the Telegram agent, on by default, insider and congressional datasets, priority support.

What free actually gives you

Free is bring-your-own. You supply two API keys — one market-data provider key and one LLM key — and everything runs on them. There is no card, no invite, and no trial clock.

• The whole app — the desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and the web terminal at app.arcanan.com. Start with desktop: it keeps your data on your own machine and connects to your broker locally.
• Charts and quotes on your own key — the market-data provider you connect serves the prices, and what it fetches stays yours alone.
• The research agent on your own LLM key — read-only tools, 25 turns per day. A retry counts as a turn, and an exchange that pulls a chart costs two, because each one re-runs the full analysis.
• Filings and financials, free — SEC filings and as-reported financial statements come straight from EDGAR, and economic series come from FRED. Both are public data, so they need no key and cost nothing on any plan.
• Watchlists, alerts, screeners, and the trade journal — the working surfaces of the terminal, not a cut-down demo.

More datasets become servable from your own key as provider coverage widens, so the free plan grows without you changing anything.

Two things to know before you pick free

Alerts are evaluated while the app is open. On free, alert evaluation runs in the app, so an alert fires when Arcanan is open on your desktop or in your browser. Always-on evaluation on our servers is a paid capability.

Free is desktop and web only. The mobile app is on Pro and Ultimate — a phone has to lean on our hosted infrastructure, so it sits with the plans that pay for it.

What the paid plans add

Pro hosts what free asks you to bring: our licensed market data, hosted AI with a monthly allowance of 25 million tokens, and alert evaluation that runs on our servers around the clock. The agent also gains write actions — it can propose changes to your watchlists, alerts, and plans, which still execute only once you approve them — plus the mobile app and live trading.

Ultimate raises the hosted-AI allowance to 250 million tokens a month, turns on server-initiated AI by default — daily market summaries and the Telegram agent, which Pro can opt into — and adds the insider and congressional datasets.
